1. PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED
1.1 User Profile When you create a user profile in AddressBook+, we collect information such as your first name, last name, and phone number. Additional information, including but not limited to, photo, gender, and email address, may be collected at your option.
1.2 Installation and Use Upon installing and using AddressBook+, we collect personal information, including geo-location, IP address, device ID, device settings, and usage statistics.
1.3 Third-Party Services You may provide us with user identifier information for third-party services, such as social networking services, to enable their usage within AddressBook+.
1.4 Contact Information For users who obtain AddressBook+ from sources other than app stores, we may collect names, numbers, Google IDs, and email addresses from your address book.
1.5 Other Information You May Provide You may provide additional information through various interactions with AddressBook+, such as tagging functionality, reporting spam, or participating in surveys.
1.6 Google Account Data (Email and Calendar) If you choose to connect a Google account, AddressBook+ accesses your Gmail and Google Calendar to provide the in-app email and calendar features. With your permission we read your email messages so you can view and triage your inbox in the app, send email on your behalf when you compose or reply, and read your calendar so the app can show your meetings and suggest free times. You connect your account yourself and can disconnect it at any time from within the app or from your Google account settings. AddressBook+'s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use this data only to provide and improve the email and calendar features for you. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the features, to comply with applicable law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security or to comply with the law, or on data that has been aggregated and anonymized. We do not use your Google account data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. This applies notwithstanding any broader use of other information described elsewhere in this policy.
2. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
2.1 Provide, Improve and Personalize our Services We use collected personal information to provide, maintain, improve, and personalize the functionality of AddressBook+, including smart caller ID, messaging, and social graph algorithms.
2.2 Statistical Data from the Services Aggregated or anonymized personal information may be used for statistical and analytical purposes.
2.3 Personalize our Advertising and Communications We may use collected information for location and interest-based advertising and marketing communications.
2.4 Compliance with Laws and Prevention of Fraudulent Activities We may use personal information to comply with applicable laws, enforce agreements, protect rights and safety, and prevent fraud or illegal activities.
3. GEOLOCATION
If you have 'background location' turned on, the AddressBook+ app will, from time to time, tell us about your device's location even if you are not directly interacting with the application. When we have location information, we use it to tailor our Services for you and others, like helping you to check in and tell your friends that you are nearby.
4. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
In addition to functionality-related sharing, we may disclose personal information to comply with the law.
5. CONTACT LIST
AddressBook+ may access and upload users' Contact List information to https://dokaudi.com as part of our commitment to enhancing the contact information with proprietary analytics, news, current interviews, directorships, and related data for each contact in your list.
6. INFORMATION SECURITY AND TRANSFER
We take reasonable precautions to protect personal information, and data may be transferred and processed in multiple countries, including India.
7. ACCESSING AND UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION
Users may request the replenishment, rectification, or erasure of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated personal information by emailing [email protected].
8. MINORS
AddressBook+ is not intended for individuals below the relevant age of consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may change this Privacy Policy, and users are encouraged to review it periodically. Substantial changes will be notified to users.
